We are aware that we are talking about great things, perceived differently by each of us, but we have tried, over the years, to bring a smile to the face of each member of the great # Pandora team. Whether we are talking about internal events that brought smiles on people s faces or the identification of positions that are as close as possible to the passions of our employees, we aim every day to deliver #happiness in all its forms because only by doing what you like the most you can do the best things where your job is, right?
We believe that this is also the case of Anna, an employee of Pandora for over 6 years. Anna defines her work as a combination of smiles, serenity and calculations – which “she doesn’t like very much but even so she has to do it”. Who is Anna and what does she do at Pandora? Well, Anna is a pattern maker! She has been painting for a long time and even studied painting at the Faculty of Arts in Galați. After completing her university studies, Anna followed a master’s degree in “Pattern Making” at the Faculty of Textiles in Iași. She dreamed of becoming a designer, but she received a job offer right from the school benches in the field of pattern construction. She accepted it and later on she chose to join #Pandora team where she designs 2D patterns.
“You get a sketch that you have to imagine unfolded in dozens of components, which you put in a 2D software. It helped me a lot to study descriptive geometry in college. At work I do what I learned, the things I prepared for, ”says Anna.
In her free time, Anna continues to do what she has done for a lifetime – she paints! She started painting for friends and, more recently, she paints for all those who want to offer a special gift, 100% personalized. “I make small paintings using a combined technique – glass painting and pointillism (a technique introduced into painting in the late XIXth century using to ensure the effect of color fusion on the retina – pure tones, juxtaposed, like the elements of a mosaic, in smaller and smaller areas nn). Initially I painted for friends but my friends’ friends saw my paintings and now I have more and more requests “, says Anna. If you ask her what she would choose between a personal painting workshop or her current job as a pattern maker, Anna responds without hesitation: “I like what I do at work and I think it’s the job that suits me best!”. As for working at Pandora, she defines it simply, in three words: “smile”, “serenity”, “calculations”. Anna is part of the #Pandora team! We are glad that Anna comes to work with pleasure! Delivering happiness is lovely!
